Daily Agenda Slide: Reasons and sources for using amazing photographs in any subject



I love using photo backdrops for my daily agenda slide that students view as they walk into class. It catches their attention and they inadvertently read what the plan for the day is. This prevents the 50 times you will have to answer the question, "What are we doing today?" I also find that if the picture is of something peaceful or thought provoking, it has a positive effect on the attitude of the class.

So, where do you find peaceful or thought provoking photos you ask? Well, I would like to introduce you to my favorite source. Her name is Martha Thornburgh, and she is one of the most talented photographers I have had the chance to meet. She also happens to work in my school district.
